There is an increasing emphasis on obtaining physiological signals for longer periods of time and in conditions unhindered by anesthesia or restraint.
Telemetry Research implements digital data transmission and wireless inductive power charging in its physiologic monitoring systems. The result is a system with the power to enable lifetime 24/7 digital data from implanted transmitters in free-roaming conscious animals.
These advances provide significant benefits compared to legacy analog systems. View a feature comparison between a traditional telemetry system and a Telemetry Research System.
Animals can be used sequentially as their own controls or in multiple studies
Provides round the clock measurements without lab personnel present
Reduces the number of animals required
Reduces animal maintenance costs
The following components are available individually, or as a special package which provides everything you need to begin your telemetry research:
TRANSMITTER
A small implantable Transmitter which senses, processes and transmits pressure and other physiological information via telemetry from within the animal. Transmitters are completely implantable and rechargeable within the animal.
RECEIVER
A Receiver which can capture digital data from multiple transmitters at up to 5m range in one location.
WIRELESS POWER CHARGER
A unique patented in-vivo recharging system which enables long-term monitoring.
