Millar Instruments offers the TRM53P Implantable Transmitter, which enables the measurement of long-term, high fidelity pressure in animal research studies. The TRM53P device combines Millar’s gold standard, solid state pressure sensors with Telemetry Research’s next generation telemetry technology.

The TRM53P device provides long-term reliability of accurate pressure measurements, including dP/dT and LVP. An optimized implantable sensor results in minimal drift, comparable to existing wireless solutions.

Designed with an in-vivo, wireless recharging system, 24/7 digital data monitoring is obtainable for the lifetime of the animal. Digital data transmission occurs across multiple channels and allows for a larger monitoring range (5 m) and true cohabitation of multiple animals.

The integrated rechargeable battery means refurbishment is not required, allowing
straightforward transmitter reuse and the reduction
of long-term costs.

Millar offers and recommends the PowerLab® ADInstruments Data Acquisition Systems to provide a complete telemetry solution. The LabChart Pro option includes the Circadian Rhythm Analysis Module and the Scheduling Module, which along with the Scheduling Pod streamlines your data collection and analysis processes.
