Millar instruments Receives Excellence in Engineering
and Entrepreneurship Award for 2004
Houston, Texas, June 9, 2004 -- Millar Instruments,
Inc., developer and manufacturer of Mikro-Tip® pressure transducer
catheters and pressure-volume (P-V) systems was recently presented with
the Excellence in Engineering and Entrepreneurship award for 2004 by
the MIT Enterprise Forum® of Texas at its recently held annual luncheon.
“The MIT Forum awards those Houston-based companies that have
patented break-through technology, and have succeeded in thoroughly commercializing
the technology,” said Laura Capper, chairman of the MIT Enterprise
Forum® of Texas. “Millar Instruments’ engineering and
technology in the medical field truly exemplifies the type of company
we want to recognize every year.”

The MIT Enterprise Forum® is a non-profit
