Millar Enters into Distribution Agreement to Market Multi Channel Systems Stimulus Generator in the United States

New Orleans, Louisiana-November 5, 2004-Millar Instruments, Inc., developer and manufacturer of Mikro-Tip® pressure transducer catheters and pressure-volume (P-V) systems, today announced it has entered into a distribution agreement with Multi Channel Systems (MCS) of Reutlingen, Germany, to market the MCS line of Stimulus Generators with Millar’s EPR-800 electrophysiology catheter in the United States.

“The agreement with Multi Channel Systems creates a complete solution sell for animal researchers in the field of electrophysiology, combining Millar’s ultra-miniature 1.1 French 8-electrode catheter with their integrated, 8-channel amplifier and stimulator” said Steve Price, Millar’s director of sales and marketing. “The goal is to create a new opportunity for these researchers to scale down their animal models, thus reducing their costs.”

The Millar and MCS solution may be seen in Millar Instruments’ booth 747 at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions conference being held in New Orleans, Louisiana November 7-9, 2004.
